• The Mariner Shawl collar is inspired by the shawl collar jumpers widely worn in 1930's/40's.

  Knitted in 100% British wool, 3 gauge (the chunkiest knit we use) with comfortable tension. 

  Inset sleeve fit, hand linked shawl collar, finished with a natural Italian corozo nut fisheye button and loop closure.

  Compared to the Expedition Shawl collar jumper, The Mariner is a chunkier knit and has a slightly smaller and more snug collar.

  N.S.C. 100% cotton drawstring bag delivered free with your order.

• This style features a form fitting inset sleeve where the shoulder seam sits directly on top of the shoulder. We recommend ‘The Submariner’ if you are looking for a jumper with a looser fit across the shoulders.

  If you are unsure of your N.S.C. size, take a measurement around your chest at your underarm, in inches, with a soft tape measure. Our knitwear fits true to size. If you prefer a loose fit, we suggest you order a size up. Refer to the size guide for further measurements.
